This non-shocking training device is used to train students in the use of an automated external defibrillator. The trainer contains a rechargeable battery allowing up to 7 hours use on a charge. The battery recharges in about 4 hours. The newly designed training pads are now compatible with all training manikins and are easier to place back on the liner. They also come with an innovative cable rewind mechanism that will reduce the time spent resetting the system. The trainer also includes charger/power supply which allows the user to operate on battery or A/C current. Another new feature is the trainer uses LEDs to indicate the charging status while not in use, or to indicate one hour of remaining battery life (while in use). It also comes with 6 scenarios onboard.
